Roan Allen F-38, foaled in 1904, was the most important son of the foundation sire of the Tennessee Walking Horse, Allan F-1 and arguably the most influential stallion in the history of the breed's development. ALL of today's Tennessee Walkers trace back to Roan Allen F-38 many times! Roan Allen F-38 was known for being exceptionally beautiful with a lot of natural style. His refined appearance was much influenced by his dam, Gertrude, who was half American Saddlebred. Roan Allen had the ability to perform the flat walk, running walk, canter, trot, rack, foxtrot, and pace, making him one of the few 7 gaited horses the world has ever known. He was extremely successful as both a showhorse and as a stallion. Among Roan Allen's most noted offspring were Wilson's Allen, Mitch F-5, Merry Boy, Brantley's Roan Allen Jr., Hall Allen, Sam Allen, and Pearle. Artist Heather Rohde's vibrant painting, the most true-to-life portrait ever published of Roan Allen F-38, is the second release in Rohde's popular TWH Heritage Tennessee Walker art portrait collection. Rohde has painted Roan Allen as a young stallion, showing the proud, intelligent look that he was known for.Your Rohde Roan Allen F-38 limited edition Tennessee Walker horse art is of exceptional quality and comes hand signed and numbered by Rohde with a Certificate of Authenticity.
